And this is all without angering the salesperson either. Don make life miserable for salespeople. It okay to play hard ball; it not okay to be an aggressive and unreasonable asshole. Don buy a 10 year old BMW/Merc/Audi/Alfa without seriously looking at the enthusiast forums. Specifically look at the faults and repairs stories.A lot of parts are available cheap enough but the electronics are still expensive and if something like an airbag light or ASC module fails, you looking at a big money replacement.
