Not everyone is willing to do this. If you not a DIY there not really any way to own an agog BMW inexpensively unless you get extremely lucky. It a game of odds, maybe one in one hundred 3 series are as reliable as your average Lexus IS 350. I much more comfortable rolling the dice on a Lexus.

I been researching about the F30 328D in North America and I curious what the ownership costs are. So far I read there are a couple issues such as: NOx sensor going bad (Been trying to find DIY guides, but there doesn seem to be any) Transfer case going bad (Replacing with an used unit a bad idea?)

Eh I just don agree with that. They are elite at one task within a sport. Baseball is very complicated. You could have an athletic freak in centerfield and CC Sabathia on the mound. I believe that CC is top of his class at what he does. But my take is that athleticism is generally a trait that carries to multiple sports. That doesn mean you are skilled at multiple sports but the overall trait of being athletic can help you in multiple sports. A lot of baseball players are not that. They are just incredibly good at fundamentals and technique. CC Sabathia has to basically only throw a ball from point A to point B. Granted he one of the best in the world at that but outside of that what does he do in baseball that makes him an elite athlete? He an elite baseball player but not an elite athlete.
I drove a 991.2 911 before I bought the Evora. It was a very capable car that was completely soulless and uninspiring. Never been more disappointed after driving a car because of how high my expectations were for it. I am pretty positive that I don want any modern Porsche that is not a GT car (which I have ridden in on track and they are amazing). The Evora, on the other hand, feels special every time I get in it. It looks exotic, Lotus even managed to make it sound exotic, and you feel completely connected to the road when you drive it. The steering feedback and directness is unmatched, the shifter assembly is so percise and tactile, the ride is compliant with very little body roll, and that Toyota V6 sounds like it came from Italy. It not a numbers car for magazines. It simply an exceptional driver car. It still makes me smile everything I drive it.

Dealerships aren’t everywhere. In my case, the closest dealership is about an hour and a half away. It is certainly a pain to drive to. I am lucky that I have one that close. Other people may have to travel hours to get to a Mini dealership. If you do buy a car, then ensure that you learn about your warranty. The flatbed service they offer to pickup your Mini is only for a limited area, and even getting a rental while your car is being repaired can be limited in how far you can drive it.
