BMW doesn’t have to make the best EV. They really just have to make a decent one and brand loyalty can make up the rest. A big sticking point for many people coming from higher end brands is the interior of Teslas. BMW could make a decent EV with a more traditional interior. Another is service. While Tesla does have the service vans getting stuff fixed at service centres does seem to be a challenge for some people. BMW could compete there.

My P100D had 2″ curb rash on one wheel, scuffs on the aluminum sill plate from shoes, scratches in the trunk plastic, tiny pinhead size ding on the trunk lid. I would put that kind of wear on it myself in a few miles so I didn bother to bring it up. $68,000 discount from original price, about $28 48k discount from current price since they lowered the prices in March and give L for free to current owners.

I mean following your reasoning a couple of years ago I could have said my “attainable dream car” was a piece of shit 1999 four cylinder Accord, because I only had like $1000 to spend on a car and I wanted a station wagon and it was all I could afford. Do you think it would be cool if I made a post gushing about my “attainable dream car” in the title without specifying what it was, then go on to talk about this shitheap no one cares about?

Forget the automobile. Our whole auto centric world is primitive. Our cities are sprawling concrete monstrosities dissected by arteries of death and filled with these grotesque beasts spewing out toxic waste clouds. Its a nightmare we have all just become used to because it is all we’ve ever known. ANY automobile is primitive.

What do you think will happen when competitors to BMW take note and try to outsmart them by using other blockchain services then realize VeChain is already working with BYD, PICC, etc. and have developed far more advanced solutions under the radar? They will put their egos aside and come flocking to collaborate. Win win.

With its four plants in Great Britain, BMW has now prepared itself for London departure from the EU on 29 March and has therefore brought annual maintenance forward from July to April. “This gives us scope for an orderly transition,” Wendt said. By stopping production in the weeks following the Brexit, BMW wants to reduce the risk of interruptions in the supply chain and restart as smoothly as possible afterwards.

I torn about this stuff. There are a lot of things that are really insensative to say or do, but asking a couple you plan to have kids? doesnt seem offensive to me. Its only a loaded question or insensative if the other person is uncomfortable, and maybe they wont be.

BMW R50/5, R60/5 and R75/5The line of BMW’s commonly known as “Slash 5s” is legendary. These are one of the most dependable bikes ever made, with many having hundreds of thousands of miles on them. They came into production in 1970 and stayed until 1973 when the /6 appeared. These bikes were far more modern than the /2s they replaced. They featured 12 volts electrics, electric starters, and telescopic forks. The R75 was the fastest production bike available at the time with a top speed of 110 mph. These bikes were all produced in the Spandau suburb of Berlin, where BMW relocated all motorcycle production from Munich in the late 1960s.

Personally I almost always service at the BMW dealer. They charge a premium but everything is almost always done correctly, and if not they have worked hard to fix it. They also detail the car and provide a loaner for months if needed. My dealer charges only 10 20% extra for parts and labour. Some dealers are charging double mine. For me, BMW has been a huge positive experience vs indie work.

I didn realize there was GT3 cars and GTE cars, that makes sense though, I was wondering what the Merc and Audi were doing in there. So in your option I should do a season in the GT3 cars, and then move up to GTE after that? Even if I have some experience with GT3 already? I guess sticking with GT3 would let me feel out how the series itself actually works, that way I won be wrestling with learning a new faster car AND learning the series as well.

Surrounding the eSports industry value chain, Plair will become the place to go for an online social experience where gamers come to interact when playing, watching, chatting and creating gaming content. Through blockchain technology, our economic model and algorithms, Plair will be able to quantify the value members are creating for the platform, and reward them for their time, participation, viewership, growth, intellectual property and various activities on the platform with Plair Tokens (PLA), a crypto asset that will hold real value sustaining or even thriving by their gaming lifestyles.

From easiest and less is the following. A consideration many overlook is the radiator cap itself. If it does not maintain a specified pressure the system will run hotter. When water is under pressure the boiling point is raised. Many parts stores will test the cap for you for free. Caution is strongly advised to only remove the cap when the engine is cold. Best have a professional do this.

Post warranty repairs are tougher to determine. There no information for the Tesla. But Civics are generally incredibly reliable, with little that can go wrong. In the Model 3, there seems to be even less that can go wrong. But would the Model 3 really cost less in out of warranty repairs? Powertrain aside, I find that hard to say because Hondas are so incredibly reliable.

I think that what people are miffed by. People talking about their “attainable dream car” could be talking about something interesting or uncommon that they been looking for and saving towards for years (good), or just a pretty standard hot hatch everyone already knows about or even a fucking passenger van apparently (bad). The term kind of looses all meaning when people just slap it on a car that they bought because they liked it and could afford it, not a car that is actually aspirational to most people. It doesn even need to be expensive to be aspirational, it could be something unique and uncommon like a rare older model that hard to find or someone importing a car they wanted as a kid but was never sold in their country, but a Fiesta and a Transit? It just a bit lame IMO, and opening a post talking about dream cars in the title only to find out it referring to those two is pretty naff.

You say the cars you bought cost you less than you make in a single pay cheque, so I think it pretty safe to assume a relatively cheap car like a Feista or Transit isn much of a stretch for you financially. You also say you would have loved a Merkur or 323 GTX but they difficult to find in good condition and you didn want to deal with the hassle of daily driving an old rare car, in other words you didn want to put too much of your own time or effort into it. It sounds a hell of a lot like the Fiesta was the car you settled for because it was the more sensible and practical option, and I wouldn call the car you buy because it takes less effort than the other cars you wanted your dream car.

For the record, psychobabble like ‘putting one on a pedastal’ achieves only one thing fooling a patient into thinking they need to come back for one more session to interpret what this means thereby enabling the counsellor to upgrade their Ford to a BMW. Moral of the story be nice to your partner it saves on counsellors.7 years ago

And on a roadtrip? You have to go to the bathroom, maybe buy some more water, possibly a snack. If you have young kids it more involved, there are diaper changes involved, cleaning the car of trash and disposing of it properly, and so forth. By the time that is done, you received the “you may incur idle fees” message on your phone.

Vise gripsRemoving the Old Oxygen SensorThe very first thing that needs to be done is spray all around that sensor with your WD 40, Liquid Wrench, or whatever. If you’re not sure where the primary sensor is, look at the first picture below, go to your car and look between the firewall and intake manifold, and you will see it; the wires stick up like a cute little puppy tail on the back of the heat shield.

Alinghi had chosen to build a 101ft super lightweight catamaran, while BMW Oracle Racing opted for a 114ft trimaran with a giant solid wing mast in place of a more conventional sail. Both boats were impressive in their own rights and could sail at three times the wind speed, but BMW Oracle’s USA 17 particularly so, its wing taller than the total wingspan of a Boeing 747 at 223ft, the largest rigid wing ever built. Indeed, the technology on display propelled the event into completely new territory.

Door styles As indicated above, you are generally limited to the 6 8 door designs that are in stock, and you must take them in the color they come with. There is no allowance for glass doors on any cabinet. You have to choose from a small assortment of wall cabinets that are able to accept glass. Wainscot panels for backs of islands are generally not available, so you must use either standard door panels or plywood. Doors always come hinged one way. If you want the door hinged on the other side, you need to flip the door over. This is no big deal except with cathedral door designs where there is a distinct left/right. In these cases, the manufacturer supplies plastic plugs to fill the unused hinge holes on the non hinged side of the door.

High resale value. A Mini brand car has a pretty good resale value, assuming the car is in great shape and has no problems with it. If and when you decide to get rid of your car, you will earn more back than what you would with other vehicles. I tend to change cars every five years, and while I may not with my Mini, having a high trade in value is definitely a bonus.

It typically not well recieved in this sub, but I fully support your notion of spending extra on a car. I earn a similar wage in the midwest, and driving my dream car for three years was absolutely worth it. I drive a lot, so I wanted something I enjoy a lot!

I ordered this from Amazon and included the photos here. So far it has worked flawlessly for me with my wife’s 2006 BMW X3 and my 2004 Toyota Tundra Double Cab. I was able to read 2 fault codes in the BMW and clear both so the Service Engine Soon light was turned off (see disclaimer below on doing this).

Squeaky BrakesI learned after I had the car for six months, that squeaky brakes are considered normal for the TT. I had brought the car in for some normal maintenance and asked them to check my brakes. I noticed that almost every time I braked, especially in colder weather, I heard a loud squeak.

That puts my payment around $200 bucks a month. i currently pay 130 a month for insurance and this would go up to about 200 a month if i got the BMW. So i would go from $350 monthly vehicle expense to about 500. To me it is worth the extra 150 a month.

The fourth generation Eclipse marked a return to more rounded styling similar to the second generation, but it also shared styling components with other Mitsubishi vehicles of that period. You can choose between a 162 hp 2.4 L I4 or a 3.8 L V6 packing 263 horses under the hood. All of these will be front wheel drive, and there are convertibles available as well. Though you can find an old model from a private seller for less, a fourth generation usually goes for around $9000, so it’ll be out of the price range for most young people.

Honorable MentionVolkswagen GTI: The ultimate hot hatchback, this sporty version of the Golf barely missed the top five. The main thing holding it back is the higher maintenance cost of German vehicles. With solid turbocharged I4 and V6 engines, the GTI is truly a fantastic combination of hatchback practicality and light your hair on fire performance.

Low grade plastics on the dash and doors, cheap vinyl seats that don breath, hollow and chintzy window switches and steering wheel stalks, etc. All the ones I driven and ridden in have also rattled. The Model 3 would be fine for $25k car, but there is nothing remotely luxurious about it.

I had all the items reviewed while getting oil change. As I said, most are inspect items, not actual replacement. I excluded other things like brake fluid changes, air filter changes, suspension check\lubrication not because they don get done, but because they are NOT unique to ICE cars. Much of the inspect\consumables are still there for EVs. Motor oil is the big difference.

13) Bernie Sanders. Wide candidate debates pretty much exposed Bernie as, well, outdated. He couldn keep up, fought with the moderators, evaded questions, and defaulted to his grumpy grandpa stump speech. His ideas aren special anymore now that everyone has taken them. He all finger pointing and criticism and relishing on the past and overselling past accomplishments. I want solutions and path to solutions, not empty vague promises. “I had that idea first” is not an acceptable platform and it far less preferable to the current candidates who have taken his ideas and actually made them reasonable and actionable. It evident his success 온라인카지노 in 2016 was more from being not Hillary than from his own strengths.

I think that it also a bargain on the used market, because if you to to subreddits like /r/frugal everyone just blindly parrots “buy a Honda or Toyota.” Which means that on the used market, you artificially paying more because of the fierce competition. I happily buy a Fusion or a Mazda6. In fact, 3 years ago, I almost listened to the advice. I went and test drove the 1 size smaller vehicles. The Civic was bleh. The Corolla was double bleh. I strongly considered the Focus, but would have had to step back to a 2005 2010 to avoid the Focus PowerShift transmission. So I decided on a Mazda3 instead.

Around this time it occurs to me to just ring Nuna as there might be something wrong with the seat. They tell me that the seat isn’t compatible with the 3 series, 4 series, X1 and one I can’t remember. Well I’m shocked honestly that it wouldn’t just fit any car, especially a new car!

Our goal is to have only two vehicles, however we are trying to find something that meets our needs. DH (dear husband) drives 130 km to work one way, in the winter he usually stays near his work (he receives a generous travel and board allowance) but we live in an area with tons of snow we’ve had roads shut down multiple times, people ending up in the ditch including DH (dear husband) once this winter (he was driving the van with snow tires as his car was in the shop). So he really does need a AWD/4×4 in the winter. The issue is how much fuel these vehicles use, so DH (dear husband) really wants to get a BMW X3/5 diesel, but those cost more than we want to spend at this point.
